After spending the best part of a week arranging and re-arranging the flights, they're finally booked, albeit in the opposite direction to the original plan. We simply couldn't get flights out of Chile and over to NZ at any time during November or even December, which would have meant flying up to LA, spending 8 hours in the airport and then flying down again to NZ. This, in itself, was not the end of the world, but we'd also have had to do the same thing just to fly from Peru to Chile. So now it's S.E. Asia first, then down to Australia, via a few days at the new Disney Land Hong Kong (groan).
But for now, it's packing, packing and more packing. Seems like this clearing, cleaning and packing process has been going on forever.
